If he had not went off the rail the best wr was Brown. If the Patriots had him last year they would have won it all. Gronk is also one of the best TE. I hate the patriots so this is not a plug for them.

I think it's somewhat defensible.

I'd probably have him down around 4 or 5 though.

What running back has had a better 5 years than Gurley? McCoy could be argued. Gore and Lynch because of the fact they played more in the decade. Gurley is without a doubt the better running back tho imo. To each his own tho I wanted to see everybodies opinions and it is very hard to narrow it down to 2 players.

I'd take Le'Veon Bell over Gurley***

Gurley averages more yards per carry and reception as well as having way more TDs. I like Bell and to each his own. They are both dang good.

I think i disagree on a lot of these

May 15, 2020, 6:05 PM

I'm trying to weigh both peak performance and years of production. I don't want to pick a guy just because he happened to play in those 10 seasons over another guy that maybe played in 7 if the latter was just a better player at his peak, but i do want to factor it in.

QB: Brady, Rodgers, Brees. Feels too bad to leave Brees off. Wilson is my #4.

RB: Peterson, Shady McCoy. Some other solid choices here for the 2 spot though.

WR: Jones, A Brown. Calvin Johnson only played half the decade or i would've taken him.)

TE: Gronk, Witten. Lots of good choices here though. Graham, Olsen, Kelce, etc.

I think a couple of your guys like Peyton and Gates belong on the 2000s team rather than the 2010s team. Manning missed all of 2011, was really bad in 2015 then retired. He was awesome in 2012 and 2013 though.

I agree about Peyton but depends on how you look at it I guess. If I had to pick any of the qbs from that decade it would be Peyton and Tom. I believe Gates had more TDs in those 10 years than Witten. Gronk should be in my top 2 over Kelce tho. I'm a Chargers fan so I'm bias ofcourse lol.

It is a difficult thing to do and very hard to narrow down to 2 players lol. I was pretty much just saying the 2 at each position that I believe were the best not necessarily who was statistically the best out of those 10 years.
