How "low" does the presidential invitation for champion teams go?

Anybody know? Obviously the major pro leagues champions are invited. College sports? Just football and basketball champions? Last year Wake Forest men's tennis got to go after they won but that was only because Sean Hannity's son is a walk on on that team.

won it a couple years ago, they supposedly turned down the invitation, but no one knows if they were ever actually invited.
