Nope, no missed point. I read for comprehension. I see clearly that Fitz seeks to draw attention to himself by becoming a public social media victim. The fact that the cyber bullies claim to be Clemson fans is immaterial to the whiny overstep by Fitz beyond the professional bounds of objectivity. He has tried to sidle up to a victim class by magnifying the shocking fact that people say mean things on social media. Big whoop. He has given publicity to an infinitesimal minority of inappropriate twits and is now attaching sweeping generalizations to an entire fan base to sway readers' sympathy/bandwagonry. It's unprofessional at best, downright idiotic at worst. I didn't choose an ingrate Twitter freak to represent me as a Clemson fan, nor did the University, so his histrionic 'need' to vilify the whole Clemson fan base on such a basis wreaks of drama, classism, hyperbole, and eccentricity. Great hire, ESPN.
