One man among lungers should stand tall with pride...

Jan 4, 2016, 8:53 AM

Despite his short stature. There is but one man whom we go to when we seek unofficial answers on officiating. That man is Shorty. There is but one man who gives us his sideline perspective while handling balls and fisting fellow chain gang members. That man is Shorty. And there is but one man who provides his services to the lunge, and in return only asks that you give him a thumb up in his post(erior). That man is Shorty.

It is time that we unite and give Shorty what he deserves. Thumb up Shorty and let's get him in the "RING OF HONOR".

Shorty, I've got a rules question for you.

Jan 4, 2016, 11:28 AM

If on an attempted pass completion, or and attempted interception, the ball at no time can touch the ground or else it is incomplete. Is that correct sir?

The one that initially comes to mind was during the conference championship game. The baby blue defensive tackle tipped the ball, and attempted to intercept the ball. It was ruled an int, however a big portion of the ball was clearly trapped on the ground. Was that an interception or an incompletion?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for calling, the way I understand it if the ball is

possessed by the receiver/defender it can hit the ground. If the ball is not possessed and hits the ground then the pass should be ruled incomplete.
