Mannnn I used to have a thing for the Go-go's back in the day. Well, not all of them, but Belinda Carlisle was smoke by mid-80's standards and you just knew the pixie-ish brunette was a total freak.
But now.......this just makes me depressed.

why do women (and I guess some men) go so far in trying to look young that they cease to look completely human? Belinda is, relative to where they started, the scariest of all of them. And she was sofa king hot.

Emmylou Harris was at the Opry Saturday - no plastic surgery - and as hot as a 70 year old woman can be. Face is still beautiful.

I saw them in concert at SIX FLAGS once...

We had no idea there was even a concert that night, or that it was the GoGo's. These concert series were not popular at all, first come first serve, and we just walked over and maneuvered our way to the front row. Seeing Belinda Carlisle as a sixteen year old, she was the hottest chick i've ever seen in my life. It was the perfect post baby fat, pre-cocaine years of her life. 10/10

APM saw New Order at Six Flags. When he was at CU.

Frikkin' New Order. The remnants of Joy Division playing right there at Six Flags in 1988. Or so.
Reminds APM of Spinal Tap.

that summer, Roxette I believe. Really lame.
I had a uber-rich friend who's Dad was an executive at Coca-Cola. He had 2 free six flag passes all summer, and we went a bunch.
We went once on COKE day, and the entire park was shut down except for Coke employees. Was the best, we rode everthing with no lines as many times as we could.

His parents got divorced shortly thereafter. His mom got caught completely naked going down on another lady on his Country Club golf course. In the sand trap actually.
After the divorce, he went to live with his two moms in North Carolina somewhere. Keep in mind this is in the '80s, it was pretty shocking.

Well, no - but you might have recently seen a lot of jokes on Twitter that say as much. Ellen DeGeneres's reputation has been on a downward slide since roughly last fall, when, during a particularly awkward interview, DeGeneres accused Johnson of not inviting her to a birthday party and Johnson replied with the now infamous quote, "Actually, no, that's not the truth, Ellen." But that was just one in a series of controversial incidents surrounding DeGeneres, which culminated in a much more serious way last week after a pair of BuzzFeed articles alleged a toxic work environment on the daily talk show, as well as allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct by producers. Warner Bros. launched an internal investigation. DeGeneres sent an email to staff that said she took responsibility as the face of the show, but criticized her employees for not "do[ing] their jobs as they knew I'd want them done." As a result, she wrote, she and the production company will be "taking steps, together, to correct the issues." If you're curious about how things got to this point, here's a guide to how DeGeneres's public persona went from the "new Queen of Nice" to even fellow celebrities calling her out for treating people "horribly." - December 2018: The New York Times profile Even if you don't regularly tune in to the comedian's hugely successful talk show (on the air since 2003), you probably know one thing: She's known for being super nice!
