I started taking my son to Clemson football games when he was two years old. As he got
older, he would time out the last snap vs the play clock so he could be on the field first to ask players for autographs, towels, gloves, etc. When I took him to his first bowl game and the last seconds of the game ticked away, he took off running and was ready to hurdle the wall. I stopped him just in the nick of time before he and I most likely got arrested. That’s when I realized he didn’t know that gathering at the middle of the field was a Clemson ‘home game’ tradition so I had to explain it to him. He is a CLEMSON sophomore now and somehow he still manages to be one of the first ones to make it to the Paw at the end of the game.
