What is our history playing in California?

Anybody here know 1.) when the last time we played in that state, and 2.) how many games we have played there?

30-0 loss to SoCal in 1966 ... should have been 35-0 but ...

They tried for 2 after every score and failed each time.

Obvious attempt to run up the score. Not sure why.

in Clemson as a kid. The Tigers had already lost to #9 Georgia Tech and #4 Alabama and SoCal was ranked #5. We've come a long way in 50+ years!

We were ACC champs that season with a 6-4 record.

As far as I know, we're 0-1 in California, losing at the real USC in 1966. Maybe played other games, but that's all I know about. Missed out on our big opportunity last year to play in our first Rose Bowl by getting sent into Bama's back yard to play them in the Sugar Bowl.

0-2, unfortunately. Played in Stockton, CA in 1951

You mean it's time for me to stop laughing about the coots losing at home to Pacific in 1981. OK

I suppose I'll instead have to laugh about them losing to The Citadel, two out of the last three times. lol
