Just this Tuesday, Garrett Williams admitted he has not made a decision if he wants to continue playing football at Clemson or if he intends to join the military. He will be allowed to run down the hill on Saturday in the event he does not return to school.

aggressively pursuing a punter who is said to be one of the only 5 star punters to ever come out of high school. Seriously, he's that good. He's also an Inuit, which would be great for diversity PR.

Here's the rub....He's got a string of sexual assault allegations and charges pending for possession with intent to distribute fentanyl. Coaches are thinking the drug charges will ultimately be dropped since one of their key witnesses has gone missing, but the sexual assaults could pose a PR problem. Fortunately, they did not take place in the lower 48, but the admin is trying to make sure they can head off the problem. They've got him enrolled in Newspring, and Perry Noble is mentoring him from the shadows.

I'll update you if I hear anything else.
