pulling for the coots

Ok, i've read a lot of people on here saying they are pulling for sc because they are in the state. Thats certainly their choice but seriously...I have always hated the saying "putting South Carolina on the map", and its "good for the state"! WRONG..SC winning a national championship is good for the university of sc..period! If you are a true Tiger fan then why would you want them to win it all? That only helps their recruiting and hurts ours. As far as it helping us UP OUR GAME..well, they have won 2 in a row and it hasn't helped our game. And as long as i have been around, South Carolina has always been on every map of the US that i have seen. GO WILDCATS!!!!!

I don't exactly pull against you either. I want Clemson to be relevant if SC beats them, and I'd think you'd want the same. Means a lot more to beat a top 10 team (be it baseball, Basketball or football) than to beat your rival who won 2 games against highschool teams all year.

you sure spend a lot of time on t-net to not like clemson. i think deep down you are a tiger fan, and just don't realize it,or want to admit it. it's ok. let it out.

I understand the need for all your oponents to do well because of strength of schedule, but not win a National Championship and NEVER with south carolina!

If this was the coots first CWS Championship,maybe I could use the state argument and pull for them,but not a second,and definitly not a third.
Winning two in a row was bad enough,but a third and I don't see how we could live it down.
Forget about their fanbase,but you are correct in what it would do for recruiting(both theirs and ours)as well as the preception that our program might be looked upon as second fiddle to the coots.

Pulling against or for a team over the internet has never had an affect on anybody winning or losing any game that I know of.
