I’m not normally the over optimistic type, but

Dec 28, 2019, 5:54 PM

The more the talking heads talk, the more it reminds me of pretty much every other run up to the playoff games we’ve dominated the last several years. The more they swoon over Chase Young, OSU’s offense, etc... the more confident I feel.

Maybe I am behind the confidence curve and all my fellow Tiger brethren, but I now expect to see a confident and precise Tiger team that once again sends all those Buckeyes back home for another long cold winter.

GO TIGERS!!!

Me thinks you are correct!

I pretty much agree.

The only thing I've seen that worries is me is that we haven't had that consistent pass-rushing presence aside from Simmons, who I think would be needed in coverage for these playoff games. We're able to get some good pressure up the middle, but I'd like to see either XT or KJ/Rudolph step up on the edge and make an impact in the next couple of games.

Burrow seems to be pretty good when he can just stand back there.

yes, its been a different kind of defense this year.

But honestly, a 3-4 quicker front might matchup better with the mobility of Fields.

Also, more reason for optimism, take a look at how the vaunted OSU offense faired against teams with an actual defense.

They scored 28 on PSU... the same team that gave up 39 to Memphis today. They scored 35 on Wisconsin, a team that pretty much went into hibernation on offense in the second half. I think we score at least 35 on them. I’m feeling good. :)

Law of averages says eventually the talking head idiots will find an acorn.

I don’t think that is he case for us against OSU.

Yep... and then LSWho, too.***
