I noticed something in the Clemson vs SC game

Jan 28, 2015, 12:54 PM

I can't remember exactly at what point in the game this happened but i noticed when clemson's offense was on the field, Brent Venables was on the sideline looking at the coots defense and talking into his headset. Im guessing he was helping out Chad Morris but I've never noticed Brent Venables or any other DC doing this while our offense was on the field. I don't have a problem with it at all im just curious if anyone what noticed this and if this is something DC's normally do. Thoughts?

honestly Venables knows defenses so well, he could probably make a career out of exploiting them.

Well they just showed the clemson sideline at one point while our offense was on the field and i noticed Brent Venables was looking at the coot defense and talking into his headset. He may do this at every game, ive just never noticed it before.

each other out with stuff we see, provided we are not busy making our own adjustments. If I see the defense going to a certain coverage or something everytime we get in a certain formation or situation, I'll let the OC know. Just a good team effort at winning.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Most likely he was watching the game obviously....

But the conversation was w/ his defensive staff on strategy next time they went on the field.
Not related.

There's no such thing as a stupid question, just stupid people who ask questions.

What I noticed was 35-17***
