That's pretty cool. My dad used to hang out at the Chicken Shack back in the 60s.

Fleetwood Mac had to be pre 1975, before Buckingham and Nix joined to be billed under Black Oak. I graduated in Dec 1973 and don't remember it at all.

Yes, this was definitely before 1975. Pretty sure these concerts were all 1971-73.

A drunk will run a STOP sign, but a stoner will wait for it to turn green.

Charlie B. concerts were a small Woodstock

I remember those concerts I also saw Brownsville Station and Dr. John. I remember Chicken Shack as well I was about 15-16 years old when all this was happening. Those were the good ole days no doubt. I worked a few of those concerts as I knew Charlie and his son was a few years older than me.

yep, Charlie B's Outdoor Arena in the early 70's

All day outdoor music festivals with 5 or 6 bands. Just a large field with a natural bowl shape and stage on one end. I went to all of them, was in high school at the time and drove over from Greenville. I posted a thread several years ago with ticket stubs I scanned in and a lot of folks chimed in about attending. ZZ Top, Fleetwood Mac, James Gang, Black Oak, Doobies, Foghat, Marshall Tucker, Wet Willie, Goose Creek, etc. Good times....

I'd have to dig out the other stubs and scan em again, but here's one I have handy:
