I need some advice from you veterans who attend games every week.

Sep 28, 2018, 5:22 PM

If it takes me an hour and a half to get to the game to get decent parking without a parking pass what time should I leave? It has been a couple of years since I have been.

Thank you.

See some of you tomorrow. Go Tigers!

And thank you to so many to reached out in prayer for my dad who was bitten by a copperhead. The Tiger Family Rocks! Best in the nation.

I leave my house at 5:30 for a noon game and it's a two and a half hour drive, so you should leave at 6:30, no later than 7:00 to have time to relax and make it to the stadium with time to spare.

Not trying to be rude, but you should have left yesterday, parking is scarce as hens teeth. Your best bet may be parking in Anderson and hitching a ride to Clemson.

if you plan to get there at least two to two

and a half hours before kickoff you will be in great shape ! Don't listen to those telling you otherwise. I hope you have a great day and our Tigers win.

Depends on where you’re wanting to park.

Sep 28, 2018, 5:43 PM

If it was me, I would leave in time to get to Clemson by 8:30-9 or earlier depending on where you want to park and how much stress you can handle. Also how much tailgating before the game you want to do.

We are tailgating after the game

do you already know where you want to park?

Sep 28, 2018, 6:01 PM

Direction you’re coming from? Depending on where you want to park, and if it normally takes you 1.5 hours, I’d leave between 7-8.

I'd plan to arrive by no later than 8:30

Lot will start filling-up and you be sitting in traffic while it happens.

Leaving 3 hours early as others have suggested should give you enough to time to reach the stadium before the Tigers run down the hill. There are some lesser known routes that aren’t as crowded until you get close to the stadium. If you go that route you need to follow someone who knows the way. My GPS keeps telling me to make a U-Turn until I am less than 5 miles from the stadium. Good luck.

My daughter and I know Clemson very well it’s just trying to find a parking space. For years I had a parking pass and season tickets. However, I have not been to a home game in about 2 years. I need to park as close to Lot 2 as possible.

Any suggestions?? Thank you fellow TNetters.
