Interesting stats on D.J. Uiagaleilei

Jan 20, 2020, 3:47 PM

In his senior year alone

He completed 222 passes for 4,225 yds. That's an average of 19 yds per pass.

He scored 48 TD's passing, that averages 1 touchdown for every 4.6 passes.

He scored 8 TD's rushing for 412 yds.

Total yds accounted for in 14 games was 4637 and 56 Touchdowns.

He accounted for 331.21 yds per game and 4 Touchdowns.

St. John Boscoe is a 7-AA team.

It will take him a year to learn the offense, so in other words

Next year we'll have Trevor"Payton Manning"Lawrence starting, and D.J."Arron Rodgers" Uiagaleilei backing him up.

I've seen worse problems to have... :)

Did you misspell Peyton and Aaron on purpose?

Jan 20, 2020, 4:21 PM

Seemed a little odd to misspell the first name of both references.

And what is the basis of the reference? Are you comparing each player to Peyton/Aaron? Because neither Trevor nor DJ are anything like Peyton and Aaron.

It won't take him a year to learn the offense. St. John Bosco plays a similar style.

DJ played at a similarly high level as Trevor in high school but against significantly better competition. Plus DJ has 30lbs on Trevor coming out of school. He's more college-ready than even Trevor was, but we won't even need him until year 2 (God willing).
