He is as good as they get. In 1998 he separated a shoulder, came back from it only to break an ankle. In his senior year in 1999 (Bowden's first year), early in the season he took a hard hit and broke his collar bone again. Thing is, he didn't come off the field the next play and only did when he tried to pass a ball with a broken collar bone. He fought back from that injury only to be knocked out again with a dislocated hip.

Yep. One of my favorites too. About his ankle, I remember him saying that when he looked down and saw his foot pointing opposite of where it was supposed to, he knew something was wrong. Tough, tough guy.
