Is the price for top deck tickets worth it?

I am not the most fortunate when it comes to finances but I am trying to take my son and wife to their first Clemson game. The tickets are usually $65 and I am wondering what the view is like. What do y'all think?

You wouldn't happen to have a picture of the view would you? I looked at the app they had on one of the websites and it didn't seem realistic.

It's a good vantage point to watch the game and you might have a great view of the mountains.

Ok coot, I am glad you are turning your life around. Getting away from the dark side is always a plus. I would compare it to converting from a devil worshiper to....... well anything else. As far as Dabo, he should be your hero. It can't get any worse than pulling for the ole ball sack coaching the USuCk GAYmeCOCKS right. I have been in top deck South for 25 years!!my seats are on about the 15 but I can see everything! I would not swap for lower deck tix on the 50~!!!

We sit in TDE, row S (about halfway up). The hike sucks, but the view is awesome. They are good seats. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the seats. Those say otherwise are uppity!

I definitely would not change to lower deck. As the above poster said though half way and up is not great on a routine basis because I was there in the past.

Of course my tickets are on the 6th row, but I love the view. Can see everything develop on the field and you can also see the mountains and Hartwell (when it's up) in the distance.

As long as you're not in the corners and are in the first 2/3 of the deck, I think they're great seats--especially the south upper deck. It's hard to see misdirection plays and fakes develop sometimes because the ball is so small, but otherwise I never had a complaint about the seats. My biggest issue is how long it takes to get down to the field afterwards--much of the time it's not worth it because it takes such a long time, so the kids miss out on a fun experience.

Definitely! I have sat in the South Upper Deck since it was built. I am on Row C and would not swap it for lower deck. For the GT game I actually sat in the lower deck on the North side(Row KK). I would not swap sitting that low and facing the sun for my South Upper Deck seats.

I would suggest (as others have alluded to) South Upper. You will be looking for sections TD A through J. The hill will be on your right. The sun is directly in your face just about anywhere in the North stands. You'll still have the sun on your left side if you are in the South stands, but it won't be directly in your eyes.

and don't let the pic persuade you bc it doesn't look that small. I used to sit up there more often than not. I just got lucky the last 2 years with lower deck season tickets.
