Louisville fans still mad.

Their board is a riot. There is no situation where Dabo nor anyone should do anything but blow smoke up Lamaar's behind for behing the Heisman.
The best though is the butt hurt... the amount of holding their OL did all game long is nothing compared to our DBs.
I really was excited over them joining the league. Between their fans and the fiasco of a hoops program they have, complete douchebags.

I have zero respect for a school who employs the two guys as HC that they have for football and hoops. I think it speaks volumes about them

Introducing Louisville into the ACC

Would've been OK for the conference if they would've thrown North Carolina out because our credibility is getting a little shoddy!

Agree. I was not happy to see them join b/c of their basketball coach, then Strong left and they hired that football coach. Dang. Confirmed my suspicions.

Yea, everyone talks about how the ACC made out so well taking Looserville and getting rid of Maryland. Honestly, the ACC will continually have to deal with scandals out of UL and while Maryland is pretty terrible at football, they are good in other sports and all of the big B1G teams have been killing it recruiting the Maryland area since hey joined. Same with Rutgers. Ohio State and Michigan in particular have been tapping into that New Jersey market pretty well. I see Looserville embarrassing our conference pretty often till we kick them out.

It's not our fault their receiver didn't want to get hit.

If he lowers his head and takes the hit, he likely gets that first down.
If he was a step faster they might win that game 2 years ago as well.
Not our fault he's not quite tough enough and not quite fast enough.

First-down marker
Jul 7, 2017, 10:49 AM
|
|
Their fans complained about the missing first-down marker but:
1. It was properly marked - although on the opposite side of the field
2. Everyone paying attention knew that he had to get to the two yard line for a first. Perhaps figuring out the location of the 46 yard line might be confusing, but the two yard line!!!! How hard is that?
3. Marcus Edmond (or should I say Mr. Marcus Edmond) knew instantaneously that Quick came up short because he celebrated immediately after Quick went out of bounds. If Mr. Edmond knew what do to, why didn't Quick?
I think that chiding all L-ville fans is inappropriate, but they have no room whine or complain about the ending of the game.

Cards fans SHOULD be angry at the members
Jul 7, 2017, 11:58 AM
|

of their coaching staff responsible for making sure all details were clear to each L'ville player.....and one of the above posters was correct.....the holding that went uncalled on the Cards was hopefully pointed out in the next officials tele-conference.....Mike Williams occasionally looked like he was having to employ martial arts methods to get out of the grabbing/holding by every db that went up against him
Bottom line: Their guy goobered at an important point in the game. Tigers win

And yes our Dlinemen and MW were constantly held the entire game. I know our db's did some to but nowhere near the frequency or as downright blatant as their guys.

Exactly. You don't throw the the ball to someone that far behind the line to gain on 4th down. Marcus read the play perfectly and made a great break to get there for the stop. No marker placement could have helped or hurt them in that moment. The cards all knew where they needed to get to. Great play by the Clemson D.

Well, they've had three cracks at Clemson and couldn't clear the hurdle. Their team, last year, was reminiscent of the Tiger's '11 squad. The difference is, the Cards' '18 rendition won't compare with Clemson's '12.
