That before each basketball game one of the players has the choice of which ball to use in the game. Have you ever heard that?

I always thought a ref selected it and they keep that same one in play all game unless it would be damaged in some way

Wouldn't this create an opportunity to doctor the ball? And the way Clemson has been shooting, we need all the doctors we can get.

They had a player on the show yesterday explaining why he chose a particular ball. He showed ways to determine if the ball is perfectly round etc. Did no one else see this?
