I will be keeping my fingers crossed that one day I will see Marcus Lattimore carry the football in the NFL. After what we all saw today, it may be very doubtful, but I wouldn't bet against this young man's passion, attitude, athletic ability, faith and most important support group! While we never want anyone to get severly injured, I think it speaks volumes about Lattimore that so many Tiger fans care so much about what has happened to him. Gamecock or not, I'd want this guy on a Clemson Coaching Staff ten years from now as much as any other former player. He's a winner, a role model and an inspiration for a lot of people. Let's all stick by this kid and finally agree on one thing with all Coots....Football needs more Marcus Lattimores!!!

I think he is widely respected as seen here and what his peers showed as concern today at the game and with posts

i'd rather have terry allen, who also sustained torn acl's on both knees. i'm sorry, but i can respect the young mans game, but i don't want him on our staff. we recruited him,too, and he chose to go to usuck. in my mind, wrong or not, he had his chance to become part of the tiger family, and chose not to.
