I keep reading the question "If UNC beats Clemson..."

all over the internet. So I'm betting the ESPN noisemakers are asking the same thing in their yak-yak shows. I guess the end of this season is so boring they have to make up things to have anything to talk about. Bet the committee ranking coming out this Tuesday will look just like the final one. But everybody who lives on clicks and channel flipping wants some kind of upset.
Again, to me this only helps us. We play better when the team feels "disrespected."

We're playing a top 10 team on a neutral field. It isn't like we're finishing wiyh Wake Forest.

Why not ask all of those questions?

I'm not stuck on finding all of the pieces and I'm certainly not watching ESPN. But I haven't yet seen the question, What if UF beats Bama or What if Iowa beats Mich St?
Just saying.

Or finishing with an overrated , offensively challenged 2 loss Gator team that couldn't score if you handed them a thousand dollars and rang the doorbell at the Bunny Ranch .

Because UNC is inferior to Clemson to me, and its disrespectful to keep assuming that NC is going to beat Clemson because their schedule is softer than toilet tissue.

Has more to do with how soft we've been playing the last month than anything. If we had routed everyone like we did Miami (as we should have, except maybe FSU) none of the talking heads would even think about us dropping the ACCCG to UNC. But you have to admit that Clemson has been less than impressive, most of all this weekend to a really schitty SCU team.

You are right and everything you said is fact, but the one thing I take away is most of their wounds were self inflicted. You look at Florida last night and you can honestly say their offense is what it is and they were just out matched but Clemson the last couple of weeks in my opinion have been playing down to the level of their opponents and I honestly think Clemson best game vs NC best game is probably 14 points better.....but I guess we will see in a few days.

Do you think the game is a shoe-in, like the USuC game was? UF beating Alabama? That ain't gonna happen, that's why!

No. But why not ask about Iowa/Mich St?

I'm not saying the question is wrong. Just the prevalence of that question and no others. Of course, I'm not stuck to my tablet or my TV so maybe all the questions are being asked.

Because the outcome of that is obvious. Winner gets in. If the Holes beat us they probably still don't get in, so the real questions is who gets in if Clemson loses.
Does anyone think we can still get in if we lose to UNCheat? Maybe if it's a close game? I think the D steps up and we win by a couple scores so it's moot, but just a curiosity question.
