Night game not even an option?

Posted: Oct 25, 2010 3:26 PM

Looks like 12 or 3:30.

I hope the contract starting next season gives us some

Posted: Oct 25, 2010 3:28 PM

more leverage...but I highly doubt it. The ACC should now realize that we should have moved to FOX.

we will always be the step child of espn.

Fox would've been the better option imo. It would've been like our own network.

From a BC website.

BCI: Will BC fans and fans of other ACC programs see less of these six-day options starting next season when the new 12-year, ESPN television rights contract goes into effect?

Kelly: You will see the same amount in the next contract. They will be able to have four six-day options—the same it has been for the past seven years.

yeah because if we had leverage we'd use it

have you ever watched our administration work? Calling them gutless is giving them way too much credit. we might anger someone or make it hard for an opposing fan.

Raycom or Pam Ward...nice options

glad I'll be there in person.

Pam is not on ABC at 3:30PM.***

Posted: Oct 25, 2010 3:32 PM

she is on ESPNU at 3:30 though***

I just noticed the open ESPNU 3:30 slot. That would suck.***

It's a nooner if FSU wins on Thurs.

Posted: Oct 25, 2010 3:29 PM

why? if FSU wins they will probably be the 8:00 game

Posted: Oct 25, 2010 3:33 PM

thus opening the 3:30 spot

Look at the networks...***

playing GT for the 2nd time this season too.

I think that should be GT-Va Tech Thursday night.

dangit! I thought for sure this one was setting up nicely

Posted: Oct 25, 2010 3:41 PM

to be a night game. If we win at BC, and NC State beats FSU, it will be a great game!

I feel cheated.

IF we get the 3:30 ESPNU spot we should definitely have a packed house, since Pam Ward is calling the game.

Why the heck is FSU-UNC 3:30 or 8:00

Posted: Oct 25, 2010 4:37 PM

What's so great about that game that it can't be at noon???

Either way it comes down to FSU with 2 losses or FSU with strangle hold on the Conf. up against a not so good Miami team. I don't get it.

Looks like no home night games unless the coot game is and

Posted: Oct 25, 2010 5:06 PM

I bet ya 10-1 FSU will get us at home at night!!

Wal-Mart sports sections are full of FSU and UNC stuff***

Posted: Oct 25, 2010 5:07 PM

If FSU loses Thurs, the UNC/FSU game is for nothing

Posted: Oct 25, 2010 5:34 PM

UNC is pretty much out of it now that Miami has beat them. It all comes down to VT and Miami.

So I'm not sure why ESPN would do that.

Posted: Oct 25, 2010 6:08 PM

man.. no 7:30 or 8:00 time slots... i want a night game in deathvalley not another noon or 3:30 game...

It is obvious that those in power want FSU in the ACCCG

Posted: Oct 25, 2010 7:07 PM

it would have made more sense for the maryland vs miami game to be primetime.

guessing noon kickoff.***

Me too. Sad, but probably noon. When the Tigers and the rest of the conference pick up the pace with ooc wins against quality opponents, we will get more courtesy, but we have to beat somebody to be somebody. NTSU and PC won't cut it, and losing to also ran teams in the conference like Miami and UNC don't either.
