Ask Brad. He's the X's and O's genius.

That seems to be one of Brownell's weaknesses that he hasn't

been able to learn from over the years. He struggles with calling game tempo - it's bit us so many times over the years when we take the wind out of the offense's sails to kill clock that he should know better by now. And I don't know that he has any extra gears on the passion side that he needs to better instill a sense of urgency in the team and the officiating. The Alabama throw-in loss was on him, and it was a same old story.

People give him a lot of grief on recruiting and transfers but I think he's picked up consistently year by year the talent level and the interest in kids. If he leaves, there won't be a bare cupboard behind. But honestly that's the only area that I see him growing in. I don't see his skills as a coach improving, and that's unfortunate.

For what it's worth, he's our most successful coach EVER in conference play in winning % through his tenure. No matter the league, no matter the coach, no matter the year - Brownell owns the best league record to date.
