UK is a train wreck

Nov 4, 2012, 6:12 PM

it could make a great coach look terrible, I don't think there is much to worry about.

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

I imagine they call and gives a courtesy interview

Nov 4, 2012, 6:18 PM

But don't think he would go.
It's a big uphill battle in that division especially given that Ky is a terrible state for football talent and basketball is #1 at UK.

With the talent coming back at Clemson, he can stay another year and have much better job offers.

I hope Swinney has someone under Morris' tutelage (maybe even himself) in order to maintain this offense after he gets hired out from under our nose.

Or, we make it a budget priority to pay OCs more than SEC head coaches.

He's already paid comparably to lower end BCS head coaches with much more favorable buyouts. After this season, Clemson will owe him $8.4 million for the next six years. The big boys aren't likely to hire someone without head coaching experience and the lower rung probably isn't willing to spend the kind of money it will take to pry him away.

Texas isn't hiring Chad morris

Nov 4, 2012, 7:07 PM

No way a program like Texas who can hire anyone, would hire an unproven coach. Auburn wants to get away from that style offense. Morris will be here for at least 2 more years
