I don’t think it’s good for college football, almost all of those sites are owned and operated by fans of the schools they cover.

Exactly...lol. I wish it would too.

The CFP poll gives college football fans what we all say we want because it's not based on pre-season hype or ignorance.

The other polls are a total waste of time and are nothing more than popularity contests (like the Heisman). Like Heisman voters, people just don't trust that their voters are informed or impartial.
