I get that they’re only now seeing him play, and so they don’t realize he’s been doing it all season, but that doesn’t mean it’s a good habit Greene has taken to. I personally really dislike it. It looks pompous. It has the potential to waste time at the plate. And Greene is the last kid who should be acting big and bad like he’s some elite hitter. If Davidson or Beer did that, I’d still dislike it but at least the intimidation would be justified. Greene needs to spend more time worrying about how to not swing out of his shoes and getting his hitting average up and less time walking all the way around the plate every time he swings and misses like he’s trying to be a cool bada$$.
