The Sugar is ginna beg, barrow and steal to get an OSU/Bama matchup. Baylor will play Oregon in the Fiesta, leaving Clemson to play UCF- which btw is Sukolina's best win after us. I still contend they lose to Missou if Missou had Franklin at QB.

The lone thing UCF has going for them is potential ticket sales. Otherwise why on Earth would the OB shoot themselves in the foot like that? They routinely get the worst matchup in the BCS, I don't see them *volunteering*
to create that matchup for themselves regardless of what other bowls try to swindle out of them.

I think both Bama and OSU fans would be more excited to play each other than us. Plus UCFwould be excited to play us. I think they'd actually sell better than OSU or Bama.

pick Ohio State, no question. They were stuck with N. Illinois last year with the last choice, they will not throw away the ticket sales and exposure of having Ohio State.

I know this is hard to imagine, but OSU just 99% of the last two seasons believing they were the best team in college football. They are deflated and will not travel to Miami to watch them play us. I'd imagine it's a bit like FSU/Duke to them.

you are letting your orange colored way of looking at things and wanting a less talented team to play and beat make you look delusional. we are in a bcs game, the best teams in the country, so prepare to play a very good team. who wants to play who gets no consideration. the bowls like everything else in a capitalistic country only look at the bottom line, MONEY! man up and be glad you are in a bcs game and be happy to play ohio state.

We're not. No way the Orange passes on OSU, none. OSU has an enrollment of almost 60,000 students and millions of living alumni. They didn't go to a bowl game last year, so you have a fan base itching to travel...and Miami is a perfect destination for anyone in Ohio in January. They will come in droves, easily sell out their allotment of tickets, and bring way more $$$ to the local economy via plane ticket sales, hotels, restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. UCF wouldn't come close to the economic impact that OSU would bring.
Plus the Orange Bowl has been stuck with way too many poor matchups to pass on OSU for the local little guy just b/c they are in the same state.
There's zero argument or rational thought as to why they would pass on OSU for UCF.
