I hope Coach Venables

gets whatever he desires. No way we reach this rarified air with him and he deserves all our support and best wishes.

I also hope Coach Venables wants to stay in Clemson for a long, long, time.

People actually want Venables, and he can be hired as a head coach.

Mickey Andrews was DC at FSU for 26 years (1984 - 2009) and never took a HC job.

Hoping BV is our Mickey.

Bud Foster called Clemson a dream job.

BV knows he's got a great gig here and seems to like Clemson and working with Dabo a lot.

I am hoping that 20 years from now or so when he retires that he and his family are still part of our upstate family....

It's a no brainer. People who take head coaching jobs are doing for ego. Coach BV is quite content running a top notch defense and loving life. No headaches. They get the kids in, he coaches them up, he makes nearly $2mil a year. No brainer. Being a head coach is not for everyone. Dabo is a very good one. He KNOWS how to run a team and its obvious. I don't think Coach BV wants to run an entire program. He loves what he I'd doing right now, you can tell.
