I have probably a dumb question

Ive heard mention that its hard to know how good a team will be until you go out there and play... of course that makes sense. But, do you think the coaches already know how good they are and are just being low key? Or do you think they truly dont know. I mean, i know every year is new but they have to feel pretty good about the O since most are back.

Is there a little opossum going on here or are they maybe unsure? Whats the most likely scenario?
