To even get on the Wando today with terrible winds. So ...I hopped on over to Maybelline for a few hours before coming back home to God's country in Powdersville... I guess my best 5 went 15 to 16 pounds...And considering I had 2 foor white caps on a 600 acre impoundment, I'll take it..

it...only fished about 4 hours, max. My buddy lost a 6 Lber right before we left. If we could have stayed until dark, I bet I would have had some nice ones to show you....

Some serious beds on Marion at the moment, my dad caught a 10lber on top water Thursday. Said it looked like one of those high flow flushers.

have a small 18 foot tracker...I have to be careful, where I go on big water.....I had some spots I could have fished on the Wando or the Cooper today, but, not sure if I could get back if that wind held a steady direction...I have been out there and you can get some huge waves and I just have to sit tight and wait it out.

Have you fished with the Fenwick AETOS series? I haven't owned a fenwick since my bait casting days back in the 70s.
My kid borrowed my best spinning rod and lost it on the lake. I didn't ask how, you shouldn't either. Anyway I'm shopping for a best spinning rod replacement. What d ya think?

they are pricey. 250.00 plus. I guess it depends on how much you use it. What I hate about buying expensive rods is that you really need to be able to fish with one for an hour or two to decide if you really like it...

nice vest, is that one of those auto inflate thingys? I need a good sportsmen's life vest for fishing that does not get in the way...
