Even with this loss to Duke,the teams that will host in Clemson's part of the country are just about all national seeds,so they can't really put a borderline host team in that good a regional.Clemson has the perfect atmosphere for a regional, and I'm pretty sure our RPI is pretty good.Dont lose hope for the host quite yet.

I mean they could,but given our stadium and everything,it's hard to leave that out plus with our top 10 RPI ranking or around that.

hosting and sent to CCU. Our RPI was 9, but losing tonight and then if we lose to UVA Friday will pull us down. The ACC will have Louisville, UNC, UVA, and WF hosting. Idk that they give us the benefit of the doubt with 4 hosts already in the conference... especially as even as the playing field has been this year across the top of the power conferences.

But, beat UVA and we host.

Don't think we'll host. Probably going to auburn or nc state will take our spot. We're not good enough to host. Record against top 50 teams is bad and top 100 is bad too for a host team.

when you play like that, you don't deserve to win and you certainly don't deserve to host.

Tournament ball is all about getting hot at the right time and playing your best baseball at the end of the year. Clemson is going in the total opposite direction.
