I hate losing a game to anyone, ever ... but

the dynamics of momentum in baseball is one of the most fascinating things about it. This is a sport where, at every level, on a given day a very good team can lose a game to a very bad team. I love that aspect of baseball.

And don't go accusing me of calling Wake a bad team. That's not where I'm coming from. They deserve their ranking and I'm glad to win this series. I just marvel at the fact that we can dominate a team in the afternoon and then, a couple of hours later, play out of sync against the same group of guys.

I'm not sure this post has a point. It's just what I felt like sharing.

its truly a game of "failure"

By that I mean you can fail at something 7 out of 10 times and be considered HOF material.

It's a great sport
