Mangey - da QB sitch

It seems to me if we feel like we can afford to gamble on having an unproductive series or two, we go with KB. He won't make big errors and has senior leadership, but he doesn't have the overall talent of TLaw.
If, OTOH, we need to put up points, we take the good and bad of TLaw and it looks like the good outweighs the bad.
Also, the whole "can't lose the locker room" thing.
What do y'all think the coaches are gonna do?

at us, but will be okay if we get to add some new sings to Death Valley.
I mostly don't want to hear anymore about how Chase Brice can win games.

I'm not sure that's a fair assessment.

He threw one bad pass trying to fit the ball into an impossible window. Not a smart throw, but a probable mistake when the third team QB sees the field in a blowout win and is looking for an opportunity to make an impression. In most cases like that, coordinators never let number 3 do anything more than hand it off or throw short & safe to begin with. Where's all the love for attacking and not taking the foot off the gas we've been complaining about lately?
I think Brice is OK...and he better be. If we don't see Bryant take a snap Saturday, he could transfer and leave Brice as the number 2.

I admit I will be the last one off the KB bandwagon.

but I have put up my tray table and raised my seat to upright position.
"lose the locker room?" The locker room wants to win.
Had they snatched KB in fall camp and named TL the starter, I could see losing the locker room. The coaches are giving both players and equal chance to show what they can do. TL is showing a bit more.
Is KB capable? Yes.
Is TL outplaying him? YES on Saturday.
Earlier in the season, I didnt think so. TL was NOT comfortable in the pocket, even against Furman. We would not have won at aTm without KB.
we know what we have in KB. He is a great player, a great leader and an even better person. But, he is as good as he is gonna get. There may be situations where we need his run/pass ability.
TL....he is getting better every snap and the sky is the limit.
Its a good problem to have.

Perhaps if the coaches had let him do that more, he might still be the QB.

I have no idea what the real stats are but I'd wager he keeps the ball on 80% of zone reads. That's on him if they don't work out.

remaining on the schedule, where the crowd could rattle a freshman (like TAMU did).
@Wake - ha! 70% Clemson fans @ BC - 30% BC fans, 30% Clemson fans, 40% aluminum @ FSU - 50% beaten, disinterested FSU fans, 20% Clemson fans (but louder than the FSU crowd), 30% aluminum
ACC Champ game - 80% Clemson fans BCS Playoff - 50% Clemson worst case.

So there's that. Honestly, it looked to me like the offensive line was better when Lawrence was behind center on Saturday. Not sure what's up with that, but it looked that way.
