Maybe a little, but it's not kids i dislike in general.

We do a neighborhood thing at the boat landing the Saturday before, sort of like a trunk or treat, but no cars.
When i first moved into the neighborhood i used to give out Halloween candy.
Now, it's not kids from my neighborhood and often not kids at all. I guess we were marked as a "good" candy neighborhood so these mouthbreathers would truck their kids into our neighborhood from god knows where on hayride type trailers to get our candy. The kids don't walk house to house. Their parents are driving them house to house or being pulled on these stupid trailers at 1 mph and it basically shuts down the neighborhood.
I also grew tired of telling teenagers, usually without costume, no and having discussions with them and sometimes their parents about why i wasn't giving their 16 YO candy.
Also, the people outside the house drives my dogs nuts and is bad enough, if they were coming to the door it would be literal non-stop chaos.

I was the project chairman for the RH Jaycees Haunted Trail

for 5 years, and worked the trail probably another 10 years. I absolutely loved doing that. It was fun building it, and fun running it. I hate the Rock Hill chapter has dwindled to being barely active, because I would still go work on it even now. I don't guess they've had one in 3 or 4 years now. We had zero budget most years, and I could basically build an entire attraction on scraps and refuse. I would collect junk being thrown out all year if I thought I could figure out a way to get a scare from it.

The Clover Jaycees had a very active chapter back in the day

I know they ran a haunted house several years, but as they were dwindling down I know we had some discussions with them about merging with us to run the trail since we owned the property and they couldn't find a suitable place for their attraction. That may have actually happened once or twice after I aged out, but by the time Joonyer was an active RH Jaycee the chapter was co-sponsoring with the RH Rescue Squad.

but that's because I'm a sucka for Smarties and things of that ilk
SheGUAR was about to cross that PartyPooper line this year, sayin' something about giving out pencils and fruit snacks or some BS like that.
Needless to say, we're squarely in the Trusty Provider category this year, despite her healthy intentions

obese, tatted up trash in Pendleton would come to our neighborhood with their newborn children and snag candy for their own fatasses. Pissed me off, but we're in a nice neighborhood now so we're going to see how it goes with the good stuff. Prob won't get too many trick or treaters tonight though, judging by the weather.

kids.
Had instructed wife-of to be Cheapy McCheapface this year due to the volume of kids that hit our street. However, she ignored by instruction and we handed out 20 large bags of the fun-sized skittles packs with something like 20 packs per bag and were out in about 1 hour. I'm pretty sure those bags are about $7 each and it she really spent $140 on halloween candy for strangers I'm going to lose my sheet.
Next year everyone gets 1 roll of Sweet tarts!

one of the many perks of living in the boonies.
Anyone who had dared ventured to my house would have gotten an entire box of Hostess White Chocolate Ding Dongs. Really the only thing I had in my house that is candy-like.

He lies next to the bush at the corner of the lot and terrorizes people walking on the sidewalk. If a car is going slowly with the windows down he can make them wet the seat too.
There's at least 50 people who will testify in court that he's a motherfudger.
