..our defense to improve dramatically. Venables is in his second year and finally has solid talent (and more depth) at all 3 levels of the defense. Defense units that work together make a big difference. A good defensive line that gets pressure decreases the time that the secondary has to chase WRs (which I think has been a huge problem). A good secondary providing tight coverage leads to coverage sacks. A good LB corp that can make big plays in the run game takes pressure off of the secondary to help so much in run support.

Needless to say I'm really excited about the future Tiger defense!
