A win is a still a big win especially on the road. But it only matters what the polls and committee thinks if we win.

but there is a small chance it does at the end of the season when they come to picking playoff teams. The odds of it being the determining factor in why we get left out though is too low to even think about.
The odds of us beating FSU with Winston in for the whole game were also extremely low....so all in all we should be happy with this turn of events.

making the playoff but not on Clemson's making it. Our Ace is DW becoming our go to guy later in the season. That will make a difference because we've brought a freshman along and under his management our team has been undefeated.
I've seen the NCAAB committee put teams in that sucked at the beginning of a season.

I feel sorry for the ones who think this is a "no win" situation.
A win is a win.
It puts us in the drivers seat to go to the ACCCG
It gives us a chance at the playoff if we win out (only playing one bad quarter)
Who gives a rat's #### what everyone thinks or will say? Seriously, is that all those people care about is what other people think? I want success for my guys who have done things the right way.
If FSU loses because Winston was suspended, then it's their fault for recruiting a selfish kid who they have done nothing but been an enabler for. They've put themselves in this situation.
Now, go out there and win this game men!

This is good news on a number of different levels but I dont think FSU sans Winston is a guaranteed win for us. They are still very potent.

The only ACC title won under Coach Swinney came via beating FSU's backup QB. So would they say that doesn't count?

I understand that's how you want things to be. But it doesn't make it so. Public perception is important. The view of the press is important.
With JW, it's a marquee matchup that the entire nation would watch. Two heavyweights going toe to toe.
Now, the ratings will plummet and the pressure is on CU to win.... Which the SHOULD.
But, don't think for a second that a win tonight would be a marquee win. You take a Heisman and national champion QB out of the game,...

To me a win means no less.
Fsu is still loaded, even the Vegas "experts" think so. They are still 10 to 15 point favorites depending on which site you look at.
