I dodged this bullet recently on the downstairs unit.
Also clean the fins, will help it dramatically. spray water on it until the water runs clear. Will take you 30 minutes.

The thing struggles any time it gets over like 85 degrees. We know we'll have to time selling it when it's not too hot, or too cold.

no matter what size unit you install. Yesterday, when it hit 97, mine only got the house down to 79 degrees. Then it ran nearly all night, finally brought it to 74 around 7 this morning.

My thermostat was set at 72° yesterday and held. I drop it to 67° at night

with no problem. I've tried running 68° in 95° heat and it will not keep up.
