Yea, this could be wishful thinking. But, When Nkemdiche and Dabo met and he decommitted it took all the pressure that he was getting off. No more crap from his parents, friends, and the ACJ. Why hasn't he committed to MSU? If he waits until signing day, he could still come to Clemson without all that pressure on him.

I used to think that but we are out. If we get lawson an adams don't think we would really want him. I'm sure we told lawson if he comes we wouldn't take him anyway

I don't think there is a circumstance other than off the field issues where you can say we wouldn't want the top recruit in the nation at a particular position, much less the top recruit overall.

of his mother, it is more than obvious that his parents are trying to profit off of their son. Sorry but an NCAA investigation isn't worth it for the number one rated player. Ole Miss can get away with cheating because they are in the SEC, but Clemson would have the hammer come down harder on the smallest infraction.

I hope he means Lawson. Lawson and Nkemdiche would be 1a and 1b for the best player if Carl Lawson was 6'5". His height hurts him but go watch his Under Armour practice tapes, he wasn't stopped 1 vs. 1. Not one time. And that's against the best high school linemen in the country.

get him at DE in a 3-4 system. That being said, he is freaky enough like a Bowers where he can be dominant anywhere. Lets not fool ourselves by rationalizing the guy who doesn't want to come here somehow isn't cut out for our scheme.

That being said, I think the posters here have destroyed Nkemdiche. Once he finally suits up for Clemson, he'll be a shell of his former self n' be relegated to 2nd team all ACC.

anymore. With this issue of his dad getting a job at Ole Miss and the actions of his mom, RN is a problem we don't need. What we have with RN, is his parents trying to profit off of his son's talent. Sorry, but I don't want him to come here then have a Reggie Bush type of situation his junior year, because his mom and dad get greedy and want some dough.

That being said, Dabo's comment peaked my interest in the possibility. He hadn't out right eliminated Clemson but his comments on it being an LSU v. Ole Miss battle was as close as we've heard to that.

1) What's this about an investigation with his dad and him no longer getting the job?
2) What makes some of you think Lawson would have no interest in coming here if RN comes? E. Daniel did decommit a while back so that's one more DE that isn't coming.
3) How could an investigation into illegal actions by OTHER institutions effect Clemson if RN came here and Clemson's hands were clean?
I still think there is a chance we get him. None of you on here know word for word the discussion between Dabo and RN. This could be part of the plan.
