the SEC & Big10 in Covid control ?? Is it testing, ppe, contact tracing, reporting ??

a matter of time before something like this happens. Don't forget the ACC got off to a rough start with some games being postponed or cancelled. But where the ACC made the right decision was being the first P5 conference to start their season, building in plenty of opportunities to adjust schedules if need be. The B1G left no room for that, and the SEC left very little room for it.

I'm not sure the ACC is doing any better job in COVID control.

The ACC certainly did a better job in scheduling to allow open dates and such for moving games.

The ACC had several teams hit and have to reschedule games early in the year.

Now you are seeing it in the SEC a little more.

The ACC may not be done with it.

The Big 10 is certainly not done with cancellations because they have no room to reschedule and they also have incredibly over the top protocols.

OSU will miss one game for this, but you can almost guarantee Maryland will miss at least 2 and maybe 3 based on protocols. The determining factor will be how many of their players out are for positive test or for just contact tracing.
