So Auburn LB clearly led with helmet into RBs head.

Oct 5, 2019, 4:14 PM

No call, fumble recovered by Auburn, announcers ignore it.

That’s what I saw.

Are those announcers retarded? That was the definition of targeting.

There's something in these hills.

Flippin textbook targeting. I saw it live, it's taken these jokers 10 mins to point it out***

I have

no idea what targeting is. It changes 60 times a minute.

Not targeting. Running back was not defenseless and he also lowered his head and made contact with the LB. Good no call.

To me it was a good no call. I think the SEC crews do much better at sensibly calling targeting than our flag happy ACC crews.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

RB led with helmet as well. The whole targeting idea is

Oct 5, 2019, 4:36 PM

severly flawed anyway. Anytime a player bends forward at the waist, they are potentially "leading with the helmet". What are they supposed to do, remain upright at all times? This is bullshid. Furthermore, if a player does bend forward, and attempt to keep the head up so as not to lead with the crown of the helmet, thay are placing their neck in an extremely vulnerable, dangerous position. Again, the whole thing is a steaming pile of crap as it is.

Don't lead with the crown of your helmet. Pretty simple.

Auburn LB led with the crown of his helmet.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

The RB clearly led with the crown of his helmet.***

I wonder if a running back will ever be called for targeting?

Maybe remove the crown on the helmet and let the dood go "bebebebebe" for 60 years...
