We don't care what your calling it.

Apr 2, 2019, 6:26 AM

We're not buying into the GND, a complete government takeover of national health insurance and medical facilities or any of Bernie's BS socialist programs. Even he calls it socialism.

What do you think of Trump's plan?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I think if he agreed to cover all medical cost for all...

Apr 2, 2019, 8:28 AM

out of his own pocket congressional dem would not pass the bill. Don't believe it, first there was a crisis at the border according to dems. Then Trump says there's a crisis at the border and dems say their isn't one.

I'd be on board with that.

Apr 2, 2019, 9:42 AM

Unfortunately I think that Trump's (highly leveraged) wealth wouldn't be able to cover the cost. The latest news is that we're borrowing $88 billion PER YEAR to pay or health care:

it will be 188 billion for single-payer***

You're rambling. What do you think about his plan?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I addressed that fully in a response to Prod.

Apr 3, 2019, 9:35 AM

He hasn't released it and claims it's in the works. Imo, he's dragging his feet waiting on SOCUS to deliberate Obamacare unconstitutional. At that time a lot of folks will be anxious about passing a health bill and may be more receptive because of the push from the voters. Some won't be receptive even if he poses Obamacare again because they won't allow him a 'win.'

Indies and pubs will be pressuring the dem in congress to pass the bill if it's reasonable, includes reasonable provisions for preexisting conditions and kids staying on parents insurance through age 26 and while they attend college.

I presume he's getting the electorate prepared for the next election. Nothing will be done about healthcare but if the dems want to make the next election about healthcare he's prepared. I

He said he isn't going to reveal it until after the election in 2020. That says it all. He knows it's going to anger many and will suck.
He has nothing. He is all talk.

What is his plan?

Apr 2, 2019, 8:30 AM [ in reply to Re: We don't care what your calling it. ]

All I've seen is Rick Scott is suppose to be coming up with a plan.

Or is this like Republicans repealing Obamacare? Get rid of it but don't have a plan to replace it even though you say you do, but nobody has seen it.

Yay

I like your funny words magic man

Be circumspect.

Apr 2, 2019, 9:13 AM

Here's what we know.

The SCOTUS found it constitutional because of the mandate. Congress removed the mandate.

A federal judge in Texas has ruled the Affordable Care Act unconstitutional, finding that the law cannot stand now that Congress has rolled back the mandate that everyone carry health insurance or pay a fine. Dec 14, 2018

The case will go to the 5th circuit and most believe it will stand. Unless the no one contest it Obamacare will be killed but everyone knows it will go to the SCOTUS and it's believed to be overturned due to the previous factors.

Trump has a plan but he won't release it until the SCOTUS decision, that's if they rule Obmamcare unconstitutional. Why would Trump show his card before the draw?

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-10yr.jpgringofhonor-clemsontiger1988-110.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Because it's not a card game he is trying to win

Apr 2, 2019, 9:15 AM

that someone else loses? It's a matter of great importance to all Americans?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That's an analogy.

Apr 2, 2019, 10:08 AM

It's about offering an alternative to nothing for those who lose their insurance and playing politics to get it done. That's how DC works.

Surely don't think he could find success at filling one of his campaign promises by replacing Obamacare without playing rough. Are we so used to lies from candidates that we don't expect anyone to fill their campaign? He was elected to do exactly what he's trying his best to do.

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-10yr.jpgringofhonor-clemsontiger1988-110.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I don't know much about the healthcare issue

Apr 2, 2019, 10:10 AM

I just was struck by the idea that one of our leaders would keep his plans a "secret" as if it's some kind of covert operation against an enemy.

I know how to solve the healthcare problem. I have a foolproof plan. Just send me a check for $1.9 trillion dollars, along with your social security number and date of birth and I will tell you more. Trust me.

The check for 1.8 trillion is going out with today's mail and I included all my card numbers and banking formation including passwords and pins.
