raised by strict independent fundamental Baptist parents. I was an adult and out of the house before I ever heard any song that wasn't about Jesus. I was big into country and bluegrass in college, not rock, and in the last decade or so, I've gone back to gospel music exclusively.

Because he recorded an album (I think a whole album) with Alison Krauss during my days listening to country, though I didn't have specific interest in that album at the time. I didn't know he sang with Led Zeppelin until your post above.
