Got my first sprint cell phone bill

$17.45. $13.00 of that is the insurance plan I bought for my phone. The rest was taxes.

If you have a paid for Verizon phone, I can't think of a reason you wouldn't do this "free for a year" thing. I don't notice any difference in reception or data.
