The last time I was this excited about a football game

Oct 18, 2013, 5:31 PM

was my freshman year in 2006 when college gameday came to Clemson for the very first time. I could say the same for UGA, but this FSU game has so much more on the line (dont get me wrong I was amped for UGA too) but this one is way passed that in my eyes and that doesn't help out FSU AT ALL HAHA.

I remember in 2006 waking up at 6am at Byrnes Hall grabbing my friends and carrying a massive orange palmetto tree flag that was zip tied to a PVC pipe from Home depot. The pick was awesome when Lee put on the Tiger head. I also remember sneaking in a flask of bourbon and being pretty toasty by the end of the broadcast....afterwards I went to go put my flag up so i didn't have to carry it around all day (I know maybe i should have) BUT a truck full of tiger fans yelled at me to buy it. I bought the flag for 15 dollars and I got $30 for it. haha Just the good ole' salesman in me I guess. #winning #profit Hey I was freshman in college wasn't afraid to make some money and now I could buy TWO Clemson flags.

Love reminiscing about those old stories and that one in 2006 was awesome, but I am getting butterflies thinking about this game tomorrow.

THIS IS GOD'S COUNTRY PEOPLE, LETS BE LOUD, LETS BE PROUD AND LETS BRING THEM TIGERS TO VICTORY. HELL YEAH!!!!!

The better we get, the better the games get.

06 GT was huge...back then. UGA was huge, this year. But this game takes the cake.

in the long run, Ga game was just as important as this game. If we had not beat Ga, the hype for this game would not be as high. We would be out of the picture for any NC game consideration, imo.

I agree. This game is important, because of the Georgia game. The hype around this game would not compare if we had lost to Georgia.
