Trubisky vs deshaun

What an absolute joke. The fact that this is even a discussion cheapens the draft, the combine, and the NFL.

Totally agree. That and the fella from California. Just unreal how much they're trying to bash DW4.

Believe he went 8-5 at UNCheat . He would win 10 with our players in support.

The NFL has always over-valued size for QBs. Clearly the case for Trubisky. DW4 will make them pay for this.

Bare with me on this, and please don't label me a coot for my take. The difference between Trubisky, and DeShaun has nothing to do with the combine,or the NFL, but strictly with the draft, and the team holding the #1 selection, which would be Cleveland. Now Cleveland needs a lot of positions,Quarterback being just one.Cleveland has two picks in the first round,#1 and #12. So they could do one of the following: Draft either Trubinsky,or Watson with the first pick,or try for a trade with New England for Garoppolo, the back up to Tom Brady. They also have dibs on Myles Garrett, the D.E. out of Texas A&M, and then could take a QB at #12 which,in my opinion would be Trubisky because DeShaun would by all likely hood be gone by the #6 pick ,which I think belongs to the Jets. I also read something recently that the Browns like Trubisky because he is more of the prototypal style QB,unlike DeShaun. Also I read in the same article that Trubisky is from Ohio, and ever since he was a little boy has wanted to play for the BROWNS. Look, we all want to see DeShaun be the first Quarterback taken, but do we really want to see him get killed behind the offensive line,if you can call it that, in Cleveland? I don't. Let Cleveland have Trubisky, and have DeShaun get picked by a team that has at least a fighting chance.

First of all, you are a coot.

But you make some valid points. I personally don't want DW going to the Browns.

I can't argue against your points

All of which are good ones. I just can't see drafting a guy who only started one year vs a guy who started nearly 3 years and one almost every game. The combine is a joke when you consider that these 2 guys are being compared and some say Trubisky is the better pick.

I don't think Trubiesky is bad, and thought he should have played last year actually. Kid can sling it, but he would have been much better off coming back. That clears up a lot of the questions on him (only 13 starts) plus an additional year of seasoning. Still, he looked ok at the combine, but definitely slighty behind Watson who looked a lot better than I even thought he would. Watson has clearly spent a lot of time on his footwork and was lights out imo.

All that Trubisky and Kizer talk isn't just to throw other teams off hoping that DW will fall to them.
