The world's best of all time movies, Cool Hand Luke, is on TCM rat now. OK, Little Big Man may be the only challenger to that but LBM never ate 50 eggs.

We watched it a couple of nights ago with the Goddaughter. She's approaching 30 and had never seen it before.
Her: Never seen it
Me: WTPH!?! I'm making dinner. We're watching it. Your mother failed as a parent.
After the movie
Her: WTPH?!?!
She comes from a long line of happy ending movie fans (Maria's side of the family). She did make us laugh during the movie.
Her: Uncle Phil, you're way better looking than this Newman guy.
Me: I've been telling your Aunt that for 39 years now dear.

This is a completely subjective view so if anyone wanted to claim another Hoffman or Newman movie was GOAT I wouldn't contend.

and many more, just going off memory here.
And the whole scene where they're working him to death day and night, digging and re-digging a huge pit with a shovel. He finishes digging, and they ask him why his dirt is on the yard. "I don't know, Boss." "Well, you better get it off, boy". So he fills in the ditch, and then its "Luke, what's your dirt doing in Boss's ditch?" "I don't know..." "Better get it outta there, boy." LOL
Rinse and repeat.
Also - Paul Newman, George Kennedy, Strother Martin, Dennis Hopper, Morgan Woodward, etc. And one of the greatest character actors ever... Harry Dean Stanton.
