I called it...

Nov 11, 2014, 8:14 PM

I knew Oregon would jump FSU in the poll. They are looking at total body of work and the FSU ACC schedule just doesn't pan out for anyone looking at it. Now mind you, I know that you can't fairly judge that without pitting ACC teams against other power 5 teams throughout the season. But apparently, the committee and every other football talking head can call it how they want to see it.

I posed these questions earlier and got little response. But had I just outright spoken my opinions I probably would have been laughed off of Tnet.

LSU stays in the top 10. Ohio State moves into the top 10. And FSU drops for winning. The committee is just as much BS as the BCS and the AP. It's not going to change.

Don't care. FSU hasn't lost a game in nearly two seasons. 25 wins in a row or some sh*t...unreal they aren't #1

There's no such thing as a stupid question, just stupid people who ask questions.

The committee will be fair and unbiased. How? That's what I've been asking from the beginning. If you go in thinking that the SEC west is the strongest, and let the rest trickle down as it's played in the media, without head to head match-ups, then you get the same old thing.

If FSU were winning these games by 30+ like last year

Nov 11, 2014, 8:42 PM

and not struggling week in and week out, they would be #1. It's not like this is out of their control. Last year nobody questioned their dominance.

This is only part of the problem. They aren't dominating. They are lackluster and I guarantee every voter is looking for a way to get them out of the top 4 simply because they play in a perceived weak conference. The argument today on EsecPN was that Ohio State belongs in the playoff picture because they are dominating the teams they play and the Big 10 is better than the ACC top to bottom, minus Clemson. (that was said - minus Clemson)

GT, Duke, Clemson, Louisville, BC and Miami would beat most BIG teams. Oh and throw Va Tech in there as well. The ACC bottom feeder that mopped the floor with what may be the BIG champ. It was not close people. They freaking dominated OSU much the way the Tigers did minus the officials keeping the Buckeye's in the game.

And do not get me started on Minnesota. I live in Minneapolis now and one of my managers asked me today if I thought the Gophers could hang with Clemson. I said with Stoudt yes. Final 24-10. With DW, the Tigers mop the floor with em.

So winning every game you play in isn't dominating ? Hmm...
Well , we should give back the 1981 NC Trophy then , because we did won too many close games that season.

And I seem to recall an OSU team doing it more recently and winning with D. They did not look at all dominant but won the NC.
