Can't say BigCUFan®didn't warn me. Wanted to try out the Desert Eagle, hadn't shot in some time so I started with my Bill Wilson Carry, then a KZ-45, then a Kimber Ultra Carry 45, bout 100rnds total and felt fine. Picked up the DE 50 and ran a 8rnd clip. My elbow hurt like the devil. Cleaned it and put in safe prolly never to e fired again. Never felt a kick like that!!

but it's big and it kicks like a mule.

To me, it more of a collectors gun than something you'd routinely shoot.
