Looks like the AAF....

Apr 2, 2019, 1:19 PM

......is suspending further game play. Apparently the majority owner had to invest 250 million dollars of his own money last month to make payroll. I guess those that worried they would eventually start taking high school players, I was one, can quit worrying about it. Actually I think if they would have started out taking high school players interest may have been much higher. Not sure how many people really cared about watching guys that couldn't make it in the NFL.

I wonder how much longer and how many millions more of wasted dollars it will take before people realize that no one really wants a consolation-prize level spring football league?? The USFL was the only one who came close to making it work. Not even the NFL could make it work with their European league. There's just no market for it. I'm not even sure arena football is even profitable. They've been declining for years, too.

Who needs that now that I can watch all my favorite Clemson games on DVR and/or YouTube in the spring and summer :)

Just like its predecessors the WLAF, XFL, UFL, USFL, and...

the WFL.

Some people just never learn.

Hmmm...I wonder if Orlando will be dumb enough to pay Spurlid a hundred thousand to stay on as their spokesman...?

Mickey Mouse is smarter than the coots down on Peckerhead road in cooterville.

UCF will be claiming the championship, raising a banner and having a parade for this league shortly!

Spurrier seems to have some Dracula DNA in his body. He knows how to suck the blood out of organizations.

Once again, Spurrier quits midseason.

If want to make a small fortune, take a large fortune and invest in an expansion league.
