Can't understand why all these teams wear colors that are not team colors. Ah the joy of getting old I guess.

The only alternate uni I could ever see us ever wearing

Would be to do something with a camo pattern or some OD for Military Appreciation Day. Those are the only alternate unis I've really liked with other schools, when they do something to honor the military. I think Clemson, with it's long military history (only two schools put more Army officers into WW2 than did Clemson A&M - Texas A&M and West Point), could come up with something sharp.

I was working on my laptop while I watched last nights game. Throughout the game, every time I looked up, it would take me a moment to remember who was whom. I love our uniform uniforms. Purple (Purple Heart) is perfect for military appreciation.

The ONLY uniform change that I'd even partially be behind is possibly a white helmet. White helmet orange paw, orange or white face mask, orange and purple or orange only stripe. Maybe.

Is it tv/broadcast/camera/lighting differences etc, or do we have two different orange helmets?
One appears to be a flatter orange. The other appears to be a shinier, almost chrome (but not quite like that atrocious chrome helmet). Maybe it's also a day verses night color difference, but it looks like we have 2 slightly different helmet color/finishes?
