Leon Bridges at Red Hat in Raleigh was the next in my series of family concerts. Wifeof, sonof, future daugther-inlawof, daughterof and her date. That's a negative on any picture requests. Easy in-out for parking off of Cabarras St directly across from the venue. Got seats since Red Hat has such a small grass area, you have to fight for space. Sitting about 15 rows from the stage on the inside isle, great view. Opening act was Masego, unknown to me but the kids were familiar with him. Enjoyed his work and he interacted with the crowd well. Leon came out played almost all his recorded work and a couple from his next. Lots of energy and the band sounded really good. No real horns, just synthesizer. He spiced up a couple of songs as compared with the original recordings. Danced a few songs in the isle with daughterof, but not enough to get the isle witches on our case. Saw a guy with Clemson hat 2 rows back, spoke to he and his girl. His girl friend is a Clemson grad. All in all, everyone had a good time would do again 9/10.
Next in the family concert series: Chris Stapleton at Walnut Creek in Raleigh
I am glad I got to see Stapleton before the tickets got to

be insane. I went to a festival at Walnut Creek as few years back that had Chris, Willie, Sheryl Crow, the Roots, Tedeschi Trucks and some others I can recall. Eric Church closed both nights. I left early both nights.
